Minutes of a Meeting of the above Parish Council,

held on Monday, 16th November 2009 commencing at 8.00 p.m.

  1. Minutes: - The minutes of the previous meeting were approved and signed.

 

 

  1. Matters arising: -

(a)        Notice Board: - No further information has been received.

(b)        Security Gate – To write to Rosa Addlington, Countryside.

(c)        Jacks Lane – Downgrade to Bridle Path – Landlord to apply. Mr Kennedy is in correspondence with Takeley to apply to ECC.

(d)        New Little Canfield PC Councillors – Advert to be sent out.

(e)        Priors Green – Roundabouts – Richard Smith says it is dangerous. Cllr Turner says Traffic Lights are wrongly positioned. Cllr Cheetham is to contact ECC. Priors Green B1256 Roundabouts - the clerk was asked to check progress on the raising of the roundabouts.

(f)          Priors Green Potholes – Cllr Cheetham pointed out potholes in High Cross Lane E & W - in hand with ECC Highways. Mandatory signage moved by Countryside, flooded roads; Hamilton Road. Survey to be carried out in Hamilton Road by ECC.

(g)        Telephone Box – BT called and said Telephone box will not be removed but cleaned as BT have now had a change of policy regarding removing Telephone boxes.

(h)        Stansted Police – 14th December 2009, 7pm for 7.30pm start.

(a)        Community Hall Visit – Takeley to decide by Feb/March – Could be leased out for 35 years. Freehold could be given to Hall - Cllr Cheetham to speak about Kitchen – Clerk to arrange meeting with Takeley.
