COPT HALL LOOP – 4 MILES
Starting and finishing at the Lion and Lamb pub, this easy walk heads along the Flitch Way towards the Church, and then turns down by the river. From here it passes through grassy meadows and along lovely mown grass tracks by the edge of fields towards Red Barn. It then heads back via Copt Hall to the church and return to the Lion and Lamb for a well earned drink. All of the route has good footing, and there are no stiles or obstacles so this is a pleasant a walk for all. The meadow is cut for hay, so it is best to avoid the walk on a wet day near harvest time when the grass is waist high, as you will get soaked. Please put your dogs on leads as you get near Copt Hall as the footpath actually goes through Copt Hall garden.
