THE AIRFIELD WALK – 4.5 MILES

Starting and finishing at Little Canfield Parish Church, the route heads north over the A120 by Strood Hall to the disused airfield towards Little Easton.    It then loops back towards Little Canfield Hall, and returns to the church.    There are almost no roads, so it is a wonderful escape into the heart of the countryside, but some of the paths may be uneven or difficult to find at certain times of the year.   It is best for people who are good map-readers, and who have a great sense of direction.
